Artist information

Born and raised in Norfolk, for several years, Josie has been splitting her time between painting and designing commercial interiors.

Having a versatile approach, which allows her own sense of intuition to flourish, Josie draws on an eclectic mix of inspiration to guide her. The paintings seem to hang suspended in time, a fleeting moment, a sublime daydream or a warm nostalgic memory. Using a combination of abstract themes from landscape and texture her pictures draw the viewer in quickly, but still providing a real depth of visual interest.

Josie's popularity has inspired a number of commissions, purchased by many private and international corporate collectors. Work is generally in acrylic and mixed media and commissions are undertaken.
